The Northern Sonoma County Fire Protection District is continuously working to achieve the highest level of professionalism and efficiency with the delivery of our programs and services to the community. We are currently working on a process of improving our quality of services by developing a community-driven strategic plan.

The community-driven strategic planning process includes important community feedback designed to look at the current expectations and concerns that the community has, and it requires us to determine how our fire department can best meet those expectations and overcome the concerns. We plan to host a virtual community structured stakeholder input session so as to gain a better understanding of our customers’ expectations, to identify community concerns that may exist, and to identify the community’s priorities regarding programs and services that we provide. Your feedback from the virtual instruments used in this brief meeting will allow us to understand a broad-based community perspective on how we are doing, and on how we may serve you better.

The District has scheduled the following public meetings to gather your input:

Compliance Officer

Northern Sonoma County Fire Protection District has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations. The compliance officer has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best practices. Contact our accessibility officer to report an issue.

In addition to testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards, Northern Sonoma County Fire Protection District regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found.
